Logan Roberson collects $8,800 in first-career Steel Block Bandits triumph at Natural Bridge Speedway
Logan Roberson welcomed the Vision Wheel Steel Block Bandit Series to his home track of Natural Bridge (Va.) Speedway on Saturday afternoon as he unloaded his Clary's Used Cars No. 17 machine to compete in the second-annual Tommy Bare Memorial.
With a huge field of 51 Late Models on hand, Roberson set quick-time in his qualifying group before winning his heat race. Sitting on the outside of the front-row for the 60-lap main event, Logan took the lead from the drop of the green flag and led flag-to-flag for his first victory with the tour. Roberson collected $8,800 for his efforts while Tyler Bare and Justin Williams joined him on the podium.
