Logan Roberson claims runner-up honors in Fall Classic at Lake Cumberland
Logan Roberson was back behind the wheel of his Gunter’s Honey No. 17 Late Model on Saturday at Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Ky.) for the American All-Star Series presented by PPM sanctioned program.
With the 43-car field divided into two groups for time trials, Roberson followed up the second-fastest lap in his group with a flag-to-flag victory in his heat. Starting the $10,000-to-win Fall Classic A-Main in third, Logan jumped up one spot in the 60-lapper to register a runner-up finish. He trailed race-long pacesetter Cory Hedgecock to the checkers with Zach Sise, Dustin Linville, and Hayden Cardwell rounding out the Top-5.
