July 7, 2018 - Logan Roberson Records Eighth Win of the Season at Winchester
Logan Roberson’s extended holiday weekend started on a less-than-favorable note as the team battled more bad luck. However, on the back end of the three-day swing Roberson got things back on track to claim his eighth win of 2018 in his Wynbridge Inc. #17 BTS Towing Service/ XR1 Rocket Chassis Late Model.

The victory came on Saturday night at Virginia’s Winchester Speedway.

“We started the weekend by getting crashed out of two events, and I just thought to myself “Man when are we going to catch a break’,” Roberson noted. “We didn’t get down though and were able to wrap things up with a win on Saturday night at Winchester Speedway. I honestly feel like we have a winning car just about every time we hit the track, we just need a little luck on our side.”

Tuesday night found Logan Roberson in action at Potomac Speedway (Budds Creek, Maryland), where he was competing in a field of 15 Rush Crate Late Model entries. Earning the third-starting position for the A-Main via preliminary events, Roberson and another car made contact on the opening lap. The ensuing damage from the contact ended Logan’s night early.

The following night at Beckley Motorsports Park (Beckley, West Virginia) Logan was pulling double duty between the Crate Late Model and Super Late Model divisions. He rolled off the feature grid in the fourth-starting position for the FASTRAK Racing Series-sanctioned Crate Late Model feature. Roberson quickly worked his way forward in the feature and was battling for the lead, when contact again ended his night.

The Super Late Model A-Main found Logan starting 11th on the grid. Despite being underpowered with a crate engine he was still able to pass five cars in the finale to finish sixth.

On Saturday Logan returned to action at Winchester Speedway (Winchester, Virginia), where he was powering his Wells Custom Jeep #17 entry in a field of 27 Rush Crate Late Models. Rolling off second for the A-Main, Roberson jumped into the lead on the drop of the green flag and held off hard-charging Mike Franklin throughout the 20-lap feature to pick up his eighth win of the season.

Franklin, Jakob Piper, Tanner Kerr, and Transtan Stoner completed the Top-5 finishers.
